It’s the simple things that can make one happy

Like your favorite pair of Chuck’s and 6 year old pair of Tommy Jean’s that are broken in and have the nice fray on the cuffs.

In a world of uncertainty it’s the simple things that keep you grounded.

Missing out

Being down here in Jacksonville, NC sucks. There, I said it. I am missing out on a lot of shoots by being down here. The live music scene is picking up in the GSO, people asking me to do shoots with them and just more shooters in the area that I know or want to meet up with.

I’m just frustrated. If I was in Greensboro there is always something, someplace or someone to shoot. I have missed out on some paying gigs and just meeting a lot of photogs. Down here I have touched base with a few but it seems like they don’t want to come out and play.

And the big thing is that I didn’t have to drive as far to go anywhere up there.

OK, I’m rambling now.

Bored and need another project

I need something to do. I finished the 365 Day project and now I feel like I need to be doing something. I know I have my model shoots when they come up but I need something personal. For me. I have been going over some ideas but I am at a loss right now. I’ll just sleep on it.

In the meantime, Heroes kicked ass!

Starting over

I have decided with me deploying in January that I should start writing in this thing again. Also with me finishing up my 365 Days Project, after 2 years in a row, I should have a little more time. Plus this will be a way for me to keep people up to date with things as I will be on an “extended vacation” for 12 months. I see it like this. I get to save up some money, pay bills, and save up for a really nice camera.
